The Brothers of Coral Springs Lodge #373 are pleased to announced the return of our annual College Scholarship Award to help a local graduating high school senior. This year the money raised to be awarded is $2,000.00 and it will be awarded to the one (1) student who submits the best 1,000 word/2 page essay on Freemasonry. 

Eligibility Requirements:

WHO ————

Must be a graduating high school seniors currently attending:

Coral Springs High School
Coral Glades High School
Stoneman Douglas High School
Taravella High School

Or,

Be a graduating high school senior of current Lodge members, who maybe attending a school outside of the Coral Springs school district.

And,

Be a student who is continuing onto college.

WHAT/TOPIC —————

One typed essay on the topic “The importance of Freemasonry in today’s society.”

Essay length = 1,000 words / 2 pages (single spaced)

WHEN —————-

Important Dates:

To be electronically submitted by: April 20th
To be reviewed by Scholarship Committee – April 20th to April 27th
Award to be announced Monday April 27th.
Check to be presented at the school’s senior awards night. 

HOW ——————-

Essays are to be emailed to treas@coralsprings373.com, with the subject – “2019 Masonic Scholarship Entry – <and include your name here>”, and should be in either Microsoft Word or PDF formats.
